Should Copenhagen be noisier or quieter at night?

Mikkel Skovgaard (Enhedslisten, EL): »Copenhagen should be noisier. But it should also be a nightlife that is different from much of what it is today. It should be less driven by commercial interests and more about music and dance in settings where community and experiences are nurtured and not just about drinking excessively«

Louise Theilade Thomsen (Venstre, V): »We have a good and very fitting amount of nightlife, and I do not wish to limit it. However, it is clear that I don’t want a lot of noise on the streets. That is why we in Venstre have fought for safety guards on the streets«.
