The woman handpicked by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) to defend Socialdemokratiet’s grasp on the Mayor of Copenhagen post simply had to see it with her own eyes.

Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil (S) was not invited to the negotiations in Sisse Marie Welling’s (SF) committee room at Copenhagen City Hall, but she showed up anyway when all parties except Socialdemokratiet – and Frie Grønne – were about to start negotiations on who would be the capital’s next figurehead.
