In the fall of 2022, Sofie Odgaard was sent to work at the reception desk of the local hospital. She was employed through a temp agency that had arranged the job.

Sofie Odgaard enjoyed the work, but by the spring of 2023, she realized that permanent employees were earning more than she was. They also received better pension and vacation benefits, as well as better conditions during illness.
