Digitalization of the welfare state is now happening despite the wishes of the Danish people, according to a new survey from the research project Algorithms, Data, and Democracy (ADD), which was published on Tuesday.

In the last survey in 2023, 58 percent of Danes agreed that digitalization of welfare benefits citizens. Now, only 42 percent share that trust. A minority.
