It was a major blow when the eagerly awaited Basel-Copenhagen night train was canceled just four months before its premiere departure on April 16, 2026.

But the new year still looks promising. With a new international route for Danes, the return of the Swedish express train from Copenhagen, more night train ventures, and an exciting opening towards Helsinki at the lonely railway crossings in Lapland.
