It is possible that the American delegation of congress members will not succeed in persuading President Donald Trump to abandon his plans to acquire Greenland.

But hopefully, they can influence a part of the American public in favor of Denmark and Greenland. This is the hope of foreign affairs spokesperson Karsten Hønge (SF), who witnessed strong emotions from the American side at Friday’s meeting with 11 American politicians at Christiansborg.
