With a new strategic agreement on nuclear weapons with France, the Danish government is paving the way for a paradigm shift in foreign and security policy, cementing the break in Denmark’s relationship with the USA.

The new agreement does not change the fact that Denmark has rejected nuclear weapons on Danish soil in peacetime since 1957. Therefore, there are no plans for France to station nuclear warheads here.
