The war between Iran and the USA and Israel has closed the airspace over large parts of the Middle East, leaving many Danes stranded in the United Arab Emirates or Qatar. On Thursday, approximately 10,000 Danes in the Middle East were registered on the Foreign Ministry’s Danish list.
Additionally, many Danes cannot return home from destinations in Asia because their flights were supposed to have a layover in airports in either Doha, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi.
