Early Thursday morning Danish time, Noma’s co-founder and longtime front figure, René Redzepi, announced that he is stepping down from his role at the helm of the world-renowned restaurant.

»After more than two decades of building and leading this restaurant, I have decided to step back and let our extraordinary leaders take the restaurant into its next chapter«, Redzepi wrote in a post on Instagram.
