Patienthåndbogen (The patient handbook) on Sundhed.dk is »the place online where citizens can find reliable, up-to-date information about illnesses and their treatment«.

It is therefore worrying that many Danes are now settling for AI-generated answers from Google’s ‘AI overview’ and, to a large extent, have stopped clicking through to Patienthåndbogen and other authoritative health portals.
