There is too wide a gap between math instruction in primary and lower secondary school and what students encounter in upper secondary school, according to a professor.
When upper secondary school students sat their written math exam last summer, more students failed than earned top marks.
That is according to figures from the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), which reviewed results in math at B level in the general upper secondary program, stx.
