In 2024, it was especially teenage boys who were charged with and convicted of rape under the consent law, a major investigation of rape cases conducted by Politiken in collaboration with researchers from Aalborg University shows. The question is whether young men have a particularly hard time reading consent.

Samtykkeloven har ændret Danmark – og sat gang i en af dette årtis største debatter om sex, skyld og retssikkerhed.

Sammen med forskere fra Aalborg Universitet har Politiken gennemført den hidtil største analyse af næsten 300 voldtægtsdomme før og efter loven.

Det står nu klart, at en ny gruppe gerningsmænd modtager lange fængselsdomme for voldtægt i retssager, hvor dommerne kan være dybt uenige.
