A small group of children from one of the local public schools has gathered in a tight cluster inside the barn.

Just moments earlier, they were darting around the farmyard, playing ‘farmer for a day.’ They grunted with the pigs and buzzed like bees. But inside the barn, the animal noises and the kids’ chatter have now fallen quiet.
