At the School Farm in Furesø Municipality, 25 “talents” take part. What many share is involuntary school absence, but through animals and nature they slowly regain their self-confidence and their joy in school.
A small group of children from one of the local public schools has gathered in a tight cluster inside the barn.
Just moments earlier, they were darting around the farmyard, playing ‘farmer for a day.’ They grunted with the pigs and buzzed like bees. But inside the barn, the animal noises and the kids’ chatter have now fallen quiet.
