In recent months, Noma has been pitching itself to the world’s media as a reborn restaurant, returning home to Denmark without René Redzepi at the helm. The whole uproar, you’re meant to understand, is now in the past.

The slate has been wiped clean. A new chapter can begin. René Redzepi has become a less furious person. Noma has cleaned the kitchen and set up an HR department meant to ensure that employees don’t burn out.

From now on, everyone at Noma will be nice to one another. The ambition, the restaurant says on its website, is »to become the best version of Noma we have ever been«.
