After a nearly 20 year run-up and a long string of delays, Copenhagen and Denmark are now getting a natural history museum that can hold its own with the world’s best in Paris, London, and Washington. Nina Rønsted, director of the Natural History Museum Denmark, guarantees it. It will be a flagship museum of world-class caliber, she says:
»We’ll move into the international league. Our collection of 14 million objects has belonged there for a long time, but we’ve been missing a public destination that matches the collection«.
