Politiken’s editor in chief, Christian Jensen, plans in the coming days to file a complaint with the Independent Police Complaints Authority (Politiklagemyndigheden) over police strikes against a Politiken photographer.

That comes after one of Politiken’s photographers was struck twice with a baton on Saturday by the same riot-geared officer at Højbro Plads in Copenhagen. The photographer was in the area around Christiansborg Slotsplads to cover Saturday’s demonstrations for and against remigration.
