Statement by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden on the Possible Execution in Iran of Ms. Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani
The Foreign Ministers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, gathered in Reykjavik on 3rd November 2010, have issued the following statement based on reports of the imminent execution of Ms. Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani.
“We are deeply worried by reports of the possible imminent execution of the Iranian woman Ms. Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani. We strongly demand the Iranian authorities to prevent the execution.
