A new report from the independent NGO, Syrian Centre for Policy Research (SCPR), updates the death toll of Syrian citizens to a staggering 470,000 lives. The new estimate includes both civilians, rebel groups and government forces, and is almost twice as high as UN's latest assessment from 2014.
While the US, EU and Russia are negotiating a possible ceasefire, the death toll continues to rise. The question is how many dots need to be drawn before the war is over.
