The American Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice has given Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen her thinly-veiled support if he plans to seek the post of Secretary-General of NATO when it becomes vacant next year.
"The Prime Minister has been a true leader in NATO. Irrepective of which role he plays in thye future, or doesn't play in the future, I know that when we have strong leaders in NATO, the alliance prospers," said Rice during a courtesy visit to Denmark.
