NATO is holding its summit in Strasbourg in six weeks and before that, the Alliance wants to know whether the Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen is a candidate to take over the secretary-generalship from Jaap de Hoop Sheffer, according to a senior NATO source quoted in Berlingske Tidende.
Waiting for Fogh “We will be in a weak situation if there’s no clarity up to the summit,” Berlingske Tidende quotes the source as saying and adding that a definitive answer is expected within a month.
