Journalists will no longer be able to view ministerial calendars in their research into the comings and goings of ministers, following a decision by the prime minister ensure his colleagues’ privacy and close diaries to public scrutiny.
Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says that the Justice Minister will be putting a proposal to Parliament removing ministerial diaries from the Freedom of Information Act because they are no longer usable as a planning tool precisely because of their inclusion in the Act.
