The Nordic Council Film Prize for 2011 has been awarded to the film Beyond by the Swedish director Pernilla August. It is the ninth time that the award has been made, which apart from the honour carries with it prize money of DKK 350,000.
This year’s award is to be shared between Pernilla August, Lolita Ray - who produced the manuscript - and producers Helena Danielsson and Rafs Karlsson.
