Heavy southerly winds with hurricane or storm force gusts have begun reaching Denmark this morning and will be sweeping across the country.
Western and northern regions of Jutland will be hardest hit as a deep low pressure system crosses the region from west to east. The storm will be worst from 8 p.m. to midnight, with the heaviest winds expected to come late in the cycle.
