Experience!Either you have them yourself, or you’ve probably consumed an Édouard Louis book or something similar about them: Daddy Issues. The father role is not just a recurring theme for you and your petnat-drinking group of friends but also in societal debates and culture. In a new group exhibition at Gammel Strand in the Inner City, 25 Danish and international artists scrutinize the role of the father. The exhibition invites collective reflection on the phenomenon of ’father’ with works by, among others, Tracey Emin, Kim Richard Adler Mejdahl, Adam Christensen, and Dennis Oppenheim. Take your father by the hand or in spirit when Gammel Strand invites you to the exhibition opening on Thursday, January 29, promising three hours of banjo performance, feathers, and cowboys. Admission: 100 DKK. Read more here.
