Both the playlist and much of the menu are on point at this new dining bar in the city center. So why did I leave with the feeling that the evening was, in a way, a little out of tune?
We arrived to R.E.M.’s blockbuster ’Shiny Happy People’, and I had completely forgotten what a good mood that song puts you in. From 1991, the dawn of the ’90s, and surely part of the soundtrack to head chef Jonas Mikkelsen’s – born in 1982 – musically formative years.
Jonas Mikkelsen put Præstø on the gastronomic map when he won a Michelin star for Hotel Frederiksminde, and after 15 years in southern Zealand, he has now moved to Copenhagen with Anders Aagaard (Madklubben) at his back.
