Several youth parties are left bewildered after the Danish Parliament’s Presidium extraordinarily decided that they will not be allowed to campaign on debating Palestine during next year’s school election.

Even though several youth parties wished for it, the Presidium of Folketinget, the Danish Parliament, has vetoed the proposal and said no.

Thus, it has been decided at the highest level that it cannot be one of the topics in next year’s school election, whether or not Denmark should recognize Palestine as an independent state.
