Four years ago, as Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil walked towards the voting booth for the municipal elections in Copenhagen, she was so frustrated with the campaign promises of the Social Democratic lead candidate, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, that she seriously considered distancing herself from them.
