We are in the midst of an accelerating climate crisis. Yet we continue to fly on vacation, even though we know it’s one of the most climate-damaging activities we can engage in.
This paradox puzzled three researchers at the Department of Environmental Science at Aarhus University: Lars Kjerulf Petersen, Katinka Bundgård Fals, and Anne Gammelgaard Ballantyne. Over the past three years, they have worked on a research project to investigate whether climate considerations can be integrated into the ideal vacation.
