20 percent. That is how many of the voters in the upcoming municipal election in Copenhagen are foreigners, and on Wednesday evening, around 150 of them gathered for a debate in a packed room at a beer bar in Nordvest.

On stage, candidates from all established parties discussed municipal politics in English. Among the audience, their responses were whispered about in Spanish, German, Lithuanian, and Greek.
