It has been almost 50 years since the first official dietary guidelines were launched. Since then, they have been revised, and more have been added. But very few follow the official dietary guidelines. In fact, no one at all meets all the official dietary guidelines, which among other things state that an adult Dane should eat 600 grams of fruits and vegetables, 100 grams of prepared legumes, and consume 90 grams of whole grains every day.

This is shown by the survey ’Danskernes Kostvaner’ (Danes’ Eating Habits, ed.) from the DTU National Food Institute.
