From bronze to silver to gold this year – the Danish chef Rasmus Kofoed has won the title of World’s Best Chef at the 24-country Bocuse D’Or competition in Lyon in France. Ahead of Sweden’s Tommy Myllymaki and Norway’s Gunnar Hvarnes.
After five hours of cooking, Kofoed presented his complicated 10-course meal with four gravies to carry the title in what is generally accepted as the world’s culinary olympics.
