For many years, nuclear power has been the daring idea of the Liberal Alliance, which they would present at voter meetings and high schools, pitching it as the climate solution too bold for other parties to embrace.

It may have had an impact: On social media, debates about Denmark’s energy supply often escalate into arguments about nuclear power, with some shouting that it’s the only way to ensure a stable energy supply, while others complain about its high costs.
