In the late 1990s and through much of the 2000s, there was one place everyone in Copenhagen wanted to be on the weekend: Vega Natklub. For 11 years, it had one of the city’s best dance floors and charted an entirely new course for Copenhagen nightlife. Here, some of the people who were there recall the pulse of Europe’s clubbing scene, the reek of strawberry syrup, and the staircase where anything could happen.
