Are you about to snap when you hear Mariah Carey again in December? This week, you can look forward to two alternative yet still festive concerts. One week before Christmas, on Wednesday, December 17, the young women’s choir Vokalensemblet Vigdis invites you to a jubilee and Christmas concert at Timotheuskirken in Valby. The choir has a Nordic sound and consists of diverse women united by their shared love of music – hence the Old Norse name, derived from ’vig’ and ’dis,’ meaning ’battle’ and ’sister.’ Ticket prices start at 75 kroner for students.
