EXPERIENCE! How about a trip to the Meatpacking District that does not involve jam-packed dance floors, Arc’teryx beanies pulled down low and vodka-mate drinks that take a hefty bite out of your food budget? Now is your chance. This week marks the start of the new, free art festival Tender Cuts, which aims to offer fresh perspectives on the significance of the Meatpacking District. The festival takes place in Den Brune Kødby (the Brown Meatpacking District). There, the exhibition space ODP3, DGI Byen, Fotografisk Center and the exhibition platform Abattoir, which is behind the festival, will enter into dialogue with the area’s architecture, history and everyday life. The festival runs through Nov. 22. See the full program here.
