I recently read a theory suggesting that modern people find it harder to fall in love these days. Simply because we activate so much dopamine in our brains that it’s difficult to feel strong emotions in close contact with others. If this is true, then a concert with Eros Ramazzotti might be the perfect analog antidote to this emotional erosion.

On Wednesday night, I certainly hoped to experience some good old-fashioned romance along with the rest of Royal Arena as the Italian heartthrob from the ’90s serenaded us.
