The best part of Robbie Williams’ concert on Thursday night at Parken was his hunt for an authentic moment – something real. He had created a universe himself where such a moment seemed unlikely.
I didn’t think it would happen – he came running onto the stage looking like someone who’d auditioned for a stuntman role in a new Queen musical. I’ve always admired his ability to be both heartfelt and ironic at the same time, as if one doesn’t exclude the other for him.
