Carlos Santana struggled with many things on stage Monday night. But being cool and saying cool things was not one of them.

The 78-year-old Mexican strolled in with four maracas, sat himself down in an ergonomic chair and started chewing gum, before launching into a guitar solo that didn’t end until roughly an hour and a half later.
