Bike paths are no longer reserved solely for cyclists. This is not new, as it has been permitted to navigate traffic on electric scooters or skateboards for over six years now.

While electric scooters have gradually become a natural part of the traffic scene, it is still a rare sight when an electric unicycle – a so-called uniwheel – or an electric skateboard zips by. The Danish Road Safety Council expresses concerns about these small motorized vehicles.
