From the record‑setting day of government negotiations, one thing could be stated without much trouble: there was more spark in Radikale Venstre’s Zenia Stampe’s remarkably heated flirtation with Enhedslisten than in Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s (Moderaterne, M) very public coffee meet-up with his old friends in Venstre and Konservative.

While royal investigator Mette Frederiksen (Socialdemokratiet, S) continued her never‑ending negotiations at Marienborg – which by now have lasted longer than any others in recent Danish history – life went on in its usual, unhurried rhythm at Christiansborg, where the legislative mill has now been put on hold for the third month running, with no end in sight.Oversættelsesdisclaimer
