The Danish government has neglected to comply with an EU directive designed to protect rivers, coasts, and groundwater from pollution for years – a directive that Germany was previously convicted of violating in a notable ruling.

This is the criticism from several experts and environmental organizations following a major report from Aarhus University, which Politiken mentioned on Monday.
