Danish children are receiving smartphones at younger and younger ages. The average age for children to get their first smartphone is now 8.26 years, according to figures from the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority. This debut age has moved forward three years compared to the current 18-25-year-olds, who were on average 11.21 years old when they got their first smartphone.
