Donald Trump’s threats to take over Greenland have raised fundamental and far-reaching questions in Nuuk about how Greenland can best safeguard its interests, who Greenland’s closest allies are, and who it shares values with in an uncertain world.

For the ruling party Demokraatit, the answer is Europe.
