When Professor Bo Christensen saw at the start of the summer that his workplace, Copenhagen Business School (CBS), had received 7,523 applications, he was taken aback by the size of the number.

While most universities had drawn roughly the same number of applicants as last year, or fewer, the business-oriented university in Frederiksberg had increased its pile of applications by 15 percent.Oversættelsesdisclaimer
