Consumers are increasingly moving to discount stores as a result of rising food prices, according to a survey published today by FoodCulture.

The survey shows that 15% of consumers are now choosing a cheaper outlet for their daily purchases and 75% of them have dropped their supermarket in favour of a discount outlet.
