A researcher at the publicly owned Applied Municipal Research Unit (AKF) says that local councils use much too much time on meetings and e-mails, and that a lot of time and money could be saved by changing the culture.
“A lot of resources are used alone in checking e-mails and a work culture that says – better to call a meeting once too often than not to meet,” Head of AKF Research Kurt Holberg tells Jyllands-Posten based on his own research and that of the independent Cepos think tank.
