Only some 341 of the country’s 1,600 schools fulfil the curriculum requirements demanded by law according to figures from the National School Board.
“Even though students have a lot of hours, some schools plan their lessons in such a way that they are distributed into subjects and subject blocks. As a result, rules on minimum hours are not fulfilled as pupils have too few hours in certain subjects,” School Board Director Martin Isenbecker tells Berlingske Tidende.
