They hide behind usernames like ’Cervello,’ ’Velo 2.0,’ or ’Royal Copenhagen.’ Through communication services like Signal, they recruit young boys for missions with one purpose: to kill.

On Thursday, two Swedish men, a 22-year-old and a 32-year-old, were placed in the dock at the Copenhagen City Court, charged by the prosecution for being the masterminds who, behind these usernames, have directed and instructed Swedish, often vulnerable teenagers with names like Wilhelm, William, and Lucas.
