The latest figures from Statistics Denmark show that Danish exports increased in July by 1.5 percent copared to the previous month. Imports increased in the same period by 2.7 percent. Both are about a fifth lower than the same month in the previous year, according to seasonally adjust figures excluding ships and aircraft.

The seasonally adjusted trade balance excluding ships and aircraft showed a surplus of DKK 4.9 billion, a drop of DKK 0.4 billion on the previous month. If ships and aircraft are included, the seasonally adjusted trade balance shows an increase in teh surplus of DKK 04 billion from June to July, in particular as a result of a major ship export to Panama, according to Statistics Denmark.
