The wildest work I’ve seen is …

»The exhibition ’Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy’ in New York, which I saw last year. It consists of an amusement park conceived by the Austrian artist André Heller and realized in Hamburg in 1987. It was only open for a few weeks. There were carousels, a Ferris wheel, rides and all sorts of things.

Heller had asked some of the world’s greatest artists to take part, and the rides, pavilions and all the graphic design were created by, among others, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney and Salvador Dalí, with music composed for the different works by, among others, Philip Glass.
